What is The Pesach Retreat?
We host a warm, immersive Pesach experience at Wisemans Retreat on the Hawkesbury River, bringing together guests from across Australia and abroad for meaningful Yom Tov, community connection, and resort-style comfort.

What kind of atmosphere should I expect?
Expect a friendly, relaxed, and respectful environment where families, couples, and individuals can feel at home, connect with others, and enjoy a full schedule without pressure or formality.

Who is running the program?
The retreat is led by Rabbi Daniel & Atara Yesgar together with a full team of educators, program coordinators, and staff dedicated to creating an uplifting and seamless Pesach experience.

Are Shul services and shiurim provided on-site?
Yes — all davening and Torah learning take place on the property in designated rooms, with shiurim and learning opportunities scheduled daily.

Is all food provided on-site?
All meals, snacks, and beverages are provided in accordance with strict Pesach Kashrus standards. No outside food may be brought into common areas.

Is there an eruv on the property?
Yes — an eruv is in place across all main retreat areas so guests may carry on Shabbos within the designated boundaries.

Are boats or activities included?
Yes — complimentary half-cabin boat rides run daily during Chol HaMoed with advance sign-up. Additional activities such as kayaking, fishing, outings and shows are offered throughout the retreat.

Are boxed lunches available for day trips?
Yes — pre-ordered boxed lunches are available at no additional charge for guests heading out on excursions.

Is there a 24-hour refreshment room?
Yes — a self-serve tea/coffee room with light refreshments is available around the clock for guests.

Do I need to prepare anything in advance of arrival?
Please pack for variable weather and bring appropriate footwear for walking outdoors and participating in river or on-site activities.
