About the Founders
Rabbi Daniel and Atara Yesgar bring over a decade of experience in running community events and retreats in Australia, Israel and the UK. Their shared vision, rooted in Torah values, family, and community, has culminated in Australia’s leading Pesach Retreat, now in its third successful year. The Retreat reflects their dedication to creating uplifting, seamless, and deeply enriching Yom Tov experiences, where every detail is infused with warmth, care, and inspiration.
Rabbi Daniel Yesgar, a Torah scholar and dynamic speaker at Central Synagogue Sydney, delivers weekly shiurim in Parsha and Halacha. He is the author of several Seforim, each receiving Haskamos from leading Gedolei HaDor. Professionally, he serves as a Director in Private Banking at National Australia Bank, advising ultra-high-net-worth families with integrity and insight. His ability to unite spiritual depth with professional excellence defines the vision of The Pesach Retreat.
Atara Yesgar, an Occupational Therapist by profession, brings creativity, warmth, and precision to every aspect of the program. Drawing on her experience supporting children and families, she ensures that every guest feels welcomed, comfortable, and cared for — from the hospitality and décor to the family-focused programming that makes each Yom Tov moment meaningful.
Together, as a family with young children, Rabbi Daniel and Atara have created more than a program — a Pesach experience that blends comfort, connection, and inspiration, allowing guests of all ages to celebrate freedom in both body and soul.
